Taste of France opens its next chapter, inviting you to discover the sun-drenched island of Corsica, where Mediterranean flavours and French culinary traditions come together in one unforgettable dining experience.
Surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and dramatic mountain landscapes, Corsica is celebrated for its distinctive cuisine, shaped by fresh seafood, aromatic herbs, artisanal cheeses, and generations of island traditions. Rich in character yet effortlessly elegant, Corsican cuisine reflects the island's unique blend of French refinement and Mediterranean spirit.
The journey begins with Tuna Carpaccio, delicately paired with citrus fruits, passionfruit, and fragrant Pastis gel, or Aubergine Caviar, served with olives, creamy Brocciu mousse, and preserved lemon, showcasing one of Corsica's most celebrated local cheeses.
For the main course, guests may choose between Seabream, accompanied by tabbouleh and a fragrant maquis vinaigrette inspired by the island's wild herbs, or Saddle of Lamb, served with maquis potatoes, baby zucchini, and a mint and black olive jus, highlighting the rich pastoral traditions of Corsican gastronomy.
To conclude, Fiadone au Citron, Corsica's iconic lemon cheesecake made with Brocciu cheese, offers a light and refreshing finale inspired by one of the island's most beloved desserts.
To complete the experience, a carefully curated selection of Corsican wines will be available by the glass, chosen to complement the menu while expressing the distinctive terroir, Mediterranean freshness, and remarkable character of this extraordinary French wine region.
